Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a prosthesis used to bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth and it is a fixed partial denture. A prosthesis that can be removed by patients is called a removable partial denture. A dental bridge is fixed on two crowns that are placed over anchoring teeth and a false tooth or teeth in between if the gap is big. These false teeth can be made from metal, porcelain or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or dental implants.
